Cobseo, as the Confederation of Service Charities, provides a single point of contact for interaction with Government, including local government and the Devolved Administrations; with the Royal Household; with the Private Sector; and, of course, with other members of the Armed Forces Community. RAFA, the Royal Air Forces Association (or RAF Association), is a membership organisation and registered charity that provides welfare support to the RAF Family. The RAF Family includes all serving and ex-serving personnel and their dependants.

The Royal British Legion is at the heart of a national network that supports our Armed Forces community through thick and thin – ensuring their unique contribution is never forgotten. The Legion is also the national custodian of Remembrance, safeguarding the memory of those who have fought and died in conflicts past and present.

The Royal Marines Association offers support, stability and friendship to the entire Royal Marines family. Its membership is made up of Royal Marines Cadets, RM recruits, serving and veteran Royal Marines as well as their dependents, those from other Services who have served with the Corps, and those who simply share its values and ethos and wish to offer their support.

The RNA have 300+ branches with over 20,000 members. They are a family of current and former Naval Service personnel, relatives and supporters of our country's Royal Navy. They stand by the core values of, unity, loyalty, patriotism and comradeship.

SSAFA want the Armed Forces (both Regular and Reserves), veterans and their families to know they can depend on them for support now and for the rest of their lives. Their values mean they are committed, practical and understanding.

Veterans’ Gateway aim is to be the first point of contact for Veterans and their families to connect with the help, advice and support they need from a network of organisations. They are made up of a consortium of charities that support the Armed Forces community.
